Midstates Camping Conference!
Midstates is a great opportunity to expand your camp horizons. It’s a gathering of lots of fun camp people from all over the Midwest. You are getting the chance to go to camp-related educational sessions, meet new people, and reconnect with old friends. Believe me, I’m jealous to all of you who are attending. I met a guy from Camp Mack at a session about packing food on the trial. We talked about dehydrators for drying food to take on the trail and he mailed me directions to make a large food dehydrator for camp! I think it would be very cool if we made this because it would make bringing fruits and veggies on trail easier and lighter. Dried foods are expensive in the store, so this would be a more cost effective alternative to buying pre-dried goods. And its really easy to make!!

My favorite part was Zumba at 6:45 in the morning.
